Founder Story

The 'Gazes'
Janette Nelson (Opi) registered SYNCgaze.com in 2023 yet she developed the early concept of 'Gazes' between 2017 -2020.
In 2026 SYNCgaze founder's vision manifested into a modular, spatial, data-compliant software ecosystem designed to protect brand margins in a non-linear global economy:

  • RGaze: Two Visual Engines. One Drop-In Widget. Zero-latency spatial viewport embedding native visual validation directly into e-commerce storefronts and checkouts.

  • PGaze: Automated spatial merchandising deploying floor planograms and demand telemetry to structurally eliminate warehouse overstock.

  • Future Gazes (Scale Track): A modular expansion layer engineered to continually launch specialized integrated visual data solutions and predictive engines across emerging e-commerce verticals.

Next Gen Spatial Commerce

Market Fit & Frontier Discovery
While Opi was working as an product trainer and sales representative in London on brand activations for global market leaders—including Google, Microsoft, Sennheiser, Bosch, Acer and Bowers & Wilkins, and in her past working in Australian fashion retail.

Opi's gathering of instore brand activation insights presented a significant barrier to close of sale, and that was lack of personalised spatial validation e.g customers were unable to validate how a product looked in their home, or how a shirt looked with their jacket they did not have with them instore.

Opi could also see for Australian rural regional merchants (such as GlassDunes Australia), this geographic disconnect severely throttled growth while driving costly reverse-logistics return loops.

The Spatial Visualization Gap
Direct instore brand activation insights analysis of first-party consumer behaviour revealed a universal commerce friction point: high checkout abandonment driven by spatial uncertainty. Consumers routinely abandoned purchases instore due to not being able to visualise products in their homes or abandoned online carts because flat images failed to validate scale, placement, or styling in their physical environments.

Multi-Disciplinary Leadership
Beyond Opi's technical architecture credentials, she has worked in global business development and business intelligence positions for global consultancies and also in academic research funding legal areas.
